Linda Jo Neal, 68 of Hackett passed away peacefully in her home Thursday, September 18, 2014. She was born February 10, 1946 to Loyd and Querita Hunt. Linda was retired from Riverside Furniture Company Plant 2, after which she took up the full-time job of devoted wife, mother and granny.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Amity Missionary Baptist Church in Hackett Monday, September 22, 2014 at 10:00 am. A private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James L. Neal; two sons, Robert Klem of Midland and James Daniel Neal and wife, Brandy of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Hunter, Cobe, Sophia and Eva Neal; her mother, Querita Hunt of Midland; one sister, Arlene Tabor of Midland; one brother, Jack Hunt of Midland and a wealth of beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
