Linda Ann Oliver

Linda Ann (Mizell) Oliver, 71, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 in her home. She was born July 28, 1950 to Arlie and Anna (Matich) Mizell. She was a retired LPN for Mercy Fort Smith and a member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church.

She loved making arts and crafts to give as gifts, cooking “grilled” cheese sandwiches for the grandchildren and was a fan of the Greenwood Bulldogs and the Razorbacks.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Clifford Dale Oliver; three children, Barbara Oliver of Lexington, NC, Dana Cortes and husband, Nick of Moscow, PA and Brad Oliver and wife, Angie of Lavaca; one sister, Barbara Stewart of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Faith Roberts, Jacqueline Roberts, Amber Oliver, Susanna Ward, Ethan Oliver, Mae Cortes, and Nicky Cortes and one great grandchild, Leo Roberts. In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Mizell.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 21 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. As per Linda’s wishes, there will be no public viewing. The family request casual attire, no suit and ties.

Pallbearers will be Susanna Ward, Ethan Oliver, Madaline Jamison, Brandon Lowe, Kim Lowe, Jacqueline Roberts, Amber Oliver and Josh Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Davis and Brian Lowe.
