Linnie Leroy Crockett, 76, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in his home. He was born October 24, 1948 in Corning, Arkansas to Elzie Oval and Zelma Ines (Quigley) Crockett. He was a truck driver for over 40 years, working for Airgas and Suburban Propane and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two brothers, Donald Crockett and Jerry Crockett of Greenwood, two sisters, Letha McGrew of Mansfield and Doris Loveall of Fort Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lavina Crockett; one daughter, Misty Dawn Payne; five brothers, James, Deloy, Wilbern, David and Jerry Crockett and four sisters, Muriel Haley, Vona Roberts, Betty Shephard and Sharon Crockett.
Graveside service with military honors will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 1 at Slaytonville Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Pallbearers will be Caden Crockett, Bryan Dias, Billy Crockett, Ronnie Crockett, Harold Loveall and J.J. Loveall.
