MaeBelle N. Steele, 93, of Jenny Lind, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind.

She is survived by one son, Jessie McClain, Jr. and wife, Clarice and four grandchildren, Ira Lee Horne, Christy Gilbert, Katherine McClain and Ian Kimbrough. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jessie L. McClain, Sr. and Junior Steele; one daughter, Donna Kay Niles; one son, Roy Dale McClain; two brothers, Earl and Lester Phillips and two sisters, Marie Cross and Wanda Wilder.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, January 23 at Faith Baptist Church with burial at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will begin Monday at 9 a.m. at the church.
