

Mildred Eugenia Henderson Dake, 95 of Midland, Arkansas died peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was married to Robert “Bob” Dake for 57 years and was a homemaker and member of Midland First Baptist Church for 81 years.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at Midland First Baptist Church with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday, 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.
She is survived by her two daughters, Bobbie Jean Michael and husband, Homer “Mike” and Betty June Moninger and husband, Jim; one son, Roger L. Dake and wife, Susan; grandchildren, Amy Hobbs and husband, Philip, Todd Michael and wife, Angie, Rebecca Johnson and husband, Jim, Susan Mathews and husband, Will, Julie Alley and husband, Jimmy, Robert Dake and wife, Amy, Kristi Dake, Rachel Dake; seventeen great grandchildren, Joshua Hobbs, Joel Hobbs, Jonathan Hobbs, Katherine “Katie” Michael, Travis Michael, Nicole Johnson, Elise Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Jacob Mathews, Lincoln Mathews, Adam Mathews, Jackson Alley, Elizabeth “Libby” Alley, Cash Alley, Penelope Alley, Juliet Alley and Sarah Michael and one great great grandson, Peyton Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Harvey and “Elsie” Henderson; her siblings, June Henderson Pirpich and husband, Johnnie, Beecher Henderson and wife, Helen, Arvel Henderson, Nira Lee Henderson Stricker and husband, Fred; sister-in-law, Colleen Henderson.
Pallbearers will be nephews; Gerald Pirpich and John William Pirpich; great grandsons, Joshua Hobbs, Joel Hobbs, Jonathan Hobbs and Travis Michael. Honorary pallbearers will be other nephews.
