Nancy Carolyn Thames, 69, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was homemaker and retired school teacher for Klein Middle School in Houston, TX and a member of Greenwood First Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 10 am Friday, October 1, 2010 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, AR. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 9 pm. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 pm.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Thames of the home; two sons, Douglas Thames of the home and Shawn Thames, and wife, Eneldia of Greenwood; one brother, Jim L. Williams, and wife, Midge of Yukon, OK; one sister, Karen Farrar, and husband, John of Witcherville, AR and one granddaughter, Shara T. Thames of Greenwood.
Pallbearers will be Dan Thames, Kenny Thames, Kyle Farrar, Michael Nelson, Brian Williams and Lonnie Williams.
