Norma Joyce (Smith) Campbell

Norma Joyce (Smith) Campbell, 80, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 in her home. She was born April 15, 1944 in Greenwood, Arkansas to Dewitt and Rose Evelyn (Alverson) Smith. She was a retired caregiver and member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She made not only a huge impact on her own family, but on the many families she cared for over the years as a caregiver.

She is survived by three sons, Tony Campbell and wife, Marianne of Sunderland, Vermont, Bryan Campbell of Greenwood and Christopher Campbell of Fayetteville; two daughters, Kenna Brown and husband, Billy of Vian and Courtney Slate and husband, Michael of Greenwood; one brother, James Smith of Van Buren; one sister, Karen Jeffcoat and husband, Jerry of Pocola; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband of 46 years, Kenneth Campbell, one brother, Jackie Smith and a sister, Shirley Kinney.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
