I have just learned of Pats passing.  I am so sorry I did not know at the time.  We went to school together, but Pat was couple years ahead of me. We really became acquainted and friends when she & Paul had just gotten married.  They lived upstairs in an apartment and I lived downstairs.  They had a TV but no phone, I had a phone but no TV.  We swapped out. We became good friends.  Kept up with them over the years as they moved about.   I knew I hadn't heard from her in a while. So very sorry to lose her. Hope Paul is doing well?  And the boys.  She was a sweetheart.  Love to all, Georgia (Gill) Williams, Lawton, OK. 

We only met Pat a couple times but she was very hospitable and sweet. God be with you all in this great loss.


Pat Dean was my 1st cousin and one of the seven cousins of our Tishomingo, Ok. roots.
She was one of the sweetest persons you could ever hope to meet and a dedicated Christian lady.
Pat loved her boys and Paul. She loved to crochet and I'm sure everyone in the family has at least one of her beautiful crocheted blankets.
I also remember her cooking one of the best roasts you could ever hope to taste. 
 Memories are funny things; some of the most insignificant  memories are the ones that can stick with you throughout the years. Two of mine: Pat in the kitchen cooking or up at the counter eating her favorite breakfast ( toast and milk with Nestles Nesquik) while standing on one foot with her other foot against her calf.  All these years, I have tried to imitate that stance and have yet to accomplish this pose successfully. 
  I'm still trying,  Pat!
She will be greatly missed, but the very best of Pat lives on in her children and grandchildren and I believe that speaks  to a very excellent legacy.

I know we aren’t supposed to have favorites...but you were mine. It’s hard to think you’re not just a text away anymore. The love you had for your family was inspiring and the love you transferred to me and my family was beautiful as well. I always admired your faith in God and the advice you gave. You fought the good fight. “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Matt 25:21. 

Lovely woman and wonderful wife and mother.   She was the wife to my first cousin and was always so warm and welcoming.  I'm so sorry to hear this.

Condolences to all the family.  Pat was a lovely Christian lady.  Prayers for God to bless you all and comfort you during this time.

Mrs. Dean is survived by her husband, Paul Dean; five sons, Paul Bo Dean of Clarksville, Sandy Jay Dean of Scranton, Michael Lee Dean of Greenwood, Matthew Burris Dean of Rector, Arkansas and Mark Dean of Greenwood; one sister, Nancy Donley of Austin, Texas; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
