

Paula Louise (Short) Womack, 42, of Greenwood, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 in her home. Paula was raised in Bonanza, and was a 1988 graduate of Hackett High School. She was an employee of Braums, Cooper Clinic, and a homemaker, and was member of Westwood Baptist Church, and an avid Greenwood High School football fan.
Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 23 at Westwood Baptist Church in Greenwood with burial at Barling Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Survivors include her husband, James Womack; three sons, James Robert (J.R.), Jonathan Carl and Bryce Andrew Womack, all of Greenwood; one daughter, Baylea Marie Womack of Greenwood; her mother and step-father, Barbara and Bill Geopfert of Bonanza; three brothers, Andy Short of Bonanza, Billy Geopfert and wife, Judy of Alma, and Bobby Geopfert and wife, Terri of Vancouver, WA ; her step-mother, Faye Short of Sallisaw, and step-sister, Bobbie Dawn Cody of Vian.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Ethel Hampton; her father, Bob Short; her grandparents, Garland and Pearl Satterfield Jones, and Melvin and Susie Short; her mother-in-law, Geraldine Womack, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be David Nolan, Patrick Ford, Blake Hasley, Cole Gassman, Dalton Parker, and Howie Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be the Greenwood High School football team.
