We never got to meet but I am so thankful that you are resting in Jesus arms.  From what I've read, you my Brother have run a good race and fought a good fight for His Kingdom.

Karen and Cheryl, I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother, Rev. Robert Allen Vowell.   May God give you comfort and peace.  Carla Vowell (widow of your cousin Gerald Levern Vowell who was son of Walsie and Opal Vowell). 

Sorry to hear this. He was always smiling. Bro. Vowell did my dad's service in 1990 at Keener FWB Church, Ray Atchley. Bro. Vowell visited him at the hospital regularly.  I remember at the service Bro. Vowell said he asked my dad if everything was ok with the Lord. Bro. Vowell said my dad replied, " Everything is just fine". I'll never forget that and how peaceful it made me feel. I even wrote that down in the funeral book.

I have missed Robert for years ! He was a very kind person. We met At the Masonic lodge in Ft. Smith .

I am so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. He was a great guy. We went to school and graduated together. I have pleasant memories of our time in high school. I know he is rejoicing in the presence of Jesus right now, and we will see him again.

Bro Robert have been friends for years. While he pastored the Fort Smith Cumberland Presbyterian Church I served as the moderator of the church session.  We got along great and enjoyed working with each other. He was a good friend

Heaven has gained one of our very best!  Robert was always so kind and his words were always encouraging.  He loved everyone so well. He was so gracious to be part of our special day. We will always treasure the memories at Precious Moments and his beautiful baptism of Jack. Our love & prayers are with you and your family.

Robert was a postal worker and occasional supervisor when I transferred to Fayetteville 7 years ago. One of the kindest souls you would ever want to meet. I was happy to see him retire, because of the physical pain postal work caused him. I had hoped he would have had many years with his family he cherished so much, but one is called when one is called. Cherish his memory.  He was a great and humble man. 

This beautiful soul I called pops . He always could make you laughed .We had many a good times sitting on the porch of the restaurant .I'd always make sure he had his coffee. I could never have a bad day when he was there.He always kept me lifted up .I love him dearly.Theres nothing he wouldn't offer to do for me .I'll cherish our memories and times together forever.Heaven gained a really great soul .Pops I'll love you always .

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing.    My condolences to his family. He was a fine friend and I will always remember our High School days together. One tough dude also. RIP friend .
