Ruby Marie Wade Adams Bravard, 92 of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 1, 2014 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker and member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church. She was born in a wagon in Washburn, Arkansas and lived abroad for over 20 years in Venezuela with her husband Jesse Adams. After Jesse passed she married Jim Bravard and lived in Greenwood until her death. She was an avid golfer and bridge player. She even has a hole-in-one trophy to prove it. She will be greatly missed and was loved by many.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Monday, August 4, 2014 at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Father Mike Lager from St. John’s Episcopal Church will be officiating. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by one sister, Nell Hayes of Fort Smith; one brother, John Leon Wade of Six Mile, South Carolina; nephews, Neal Wade, Allen Wade, Richard Joey Hayes and nieces, Vickie Wade and Carla Dunn
Pallbearers will be John Wade, Joey Hayes, Neal Wade, Allen Wade, Cody Wade and Fred Baker.
