Sharon Anne Rasmussen

Sharon Anne Rasmussen, 79, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born June 16, 1945 in Manistee, Michigan to Howard and Genevieve Tremblay. She was retired from the engineering department at Whirlpool.

Sharon was known for her contagious smile and her always optimistic outlook on life. She was loved by all that knew her and she had a gift to always see the best in everyone around her. Sharon found God in the outdoors, was an avid outdoors woman, and devoted her life to her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ron Rasmussen; two children, Dale Rasmussen (Becky Aird) and Holly Rasmussen-Jones (Robby Jones); two grandchildren, Kolby Rasmussen (Ashley Rasmussen) and Brooke Jones; two great grandchildren, Oaklynn and Ridleigh Rasmussen; her loving sister, Sandra Cabot (Gene Cabot) of Manistee, MI and loving nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly.

Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, February 24 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood.
