Vickie Auprey of Greenwood, Arkansas was born May 16, 1954 in Mulberry, Arkansas and passed away April 16, 2020 at her home in Greenwood surrounded by her family. Vickie spent 24 years working at First National Bank in Fort Smith, where on June 2, 2000 she received her diploma from The Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Then on December 14, 2007, she graduated from UA Fort Smith’s nursing program and went to work for Mercy Fort Smith, where she worked in the ICU until April 2017, when she was diagnosed with cancer.
Vickie was preceded in death by her mother, Maynette and her sister, Tyanne. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steve of the home; her daughters, Crystal and Stacey; granddaughters, Katelynn and Natalie all of Greenwood; a sister, Bonnie of Fort Smith and a brother, Roger of Greenwood.
It was Vickie’s wishes not to have a service, please no flowers or plants. If you want to honor her memory, donate to any cancer charity in the hope of someday this horrible disease can be beaten.
