Alice Juanita Morgan, 79 of Gresham OR, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011. She was born on September 25, 1932 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Grady and Nellie (Betterton) Whitmire. She married William Clyde Morgan on November 1, 1963 in Portland, Oregon. Alice traveled for many years while she managed RV Parks with her husband. She lived in Salem for many years and recently moved to Gresham.
She is survived by sons Steve (Pam) Morgan of Wasilla AK, Bill (Diane) Morgan of Bend OR and Corey (Laura) Morgan of Happy Valley OR; daughters Connie (Dennis) Morgan of Eagle Creek OR and Pam (David) Douglas of Anchorage AK; brothers William Whitmire of Medford OR and Orville Whitmire of Lebanon OR; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her sister Dorothy and her grandson Ray.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
