Barbara E. Crawford

Former Gresham resident Barbara Ellen Crawford, 69 of Portland OR, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. She was born on March 29, 1947 in Weiser, Idaho to Robert and Darlene Cross and was a 1966 graduate of Gresham High School. Barbara married Randy Crawford on October 12, 1996 in Gladstone, Oregon.

Barbara had a lifelong passion for the caring and training of horses that extended to working with handicap children for the love of horse riding. She was a longtime member of Tri-City Baptist Temple and enjoyed summer gardening, knitting, ceramics and adult coloring books.

Barbara is survived by her husband Randy Crawford of Portland OR; mother Darlene Cross of Gresham OR; brother Jim Cross (Patti) of Gresham OR; nieces Breana Cross-Hall, Haley Cross and Julie Cross; nephew Brian Cross and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Cross.

A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham OR. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Tri-City Baptist Temple, 18025 Webster Road, Gladstone OR 97027. Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, Oregon.
