Barbara Ann Dickson, 78 of Portland OR, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. She was born on March 21, 1939 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Newton and Irene Cox. She graduated from Chickasha High School in Chickasha OK and attended the Oklahoma College for Women. Barbara married Brent Edward Dickson on March 25, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She retired after 35 years with US National Bank and was a member of Cascade Athletic Club. Barbara enjoyed walking, swimming, tai chi and was an avid reader.
Barbara is survived by her husband Brent Dickson of Portland OR; sons Brian Dickson (Laura) of Portland OR and Blake Dickson of Gresham OR; brother Richard Cox (Lana) of San Diego CA; aunt Aileen Sherrill of Albuquerque NM; grandchildren Rachelle Dickson, Darren Dickson and Chad Dickson and great grandchildren Chloe Dickson, Layla Dickson and Jaden Dickson.
Private Services will be held at a later time. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
