Bernice Mary Louise Gadbaugh, age 93, of Gresham, Oregon passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023. Bernice was born on May 16, 1930 in Pittsfield, Wisconsin to Peter Hamilton and Beatrice (Hamilton) GrosJacques.
Bernice moved with her mother to Portland, Oregon in her teen years. She graduated from Parkrose High School. She married Lawrence Gadbaugh on June 18, 1949 in Portland, Oregon. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker, office manager, and Garden Store owner. She excelled in offering hospitality in every sphere she impacted. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Gresham and served on the Women’s Ministry Leadership Team. She served as a long-time volunteer at Pregnancy Resource Center in Gresham. She was a world-class celebrant of holidays and legendary in her family Christmas hosting. She enjoyed gardening, camping, travel, and many hobbies such as ceramics, painting, embroidery, and reading.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence (March 29, 2012). Survivors include her son, Larry and his wife, Diane Gadbaugh, of Gresham, OR; daughter, Carol Hardin, of Gresham, OR; brother, Larry and his wife, Donna GrosJacques; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Bernice will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Grace Community Church, 800 SE Hogan Road, Gresham, Oregon 97080. Private burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, Oregon.
