David Henry Bergman, age 71, of Lake Oswego, Oregon passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
He was a loving son to Norman and Betty Bergman; brother to Carol; father to Shane, Danielle, and Nicole; grandfather to Eli, Koda, Fox, Mabel, and Violet; life partner to Marcia; cousin, uncle, and friend to so many.
While David was born in New Jersey, Norman's career as an anesthesiologist took their family to London, England, Salt Lake City, Utah, and eventually Portland, OR. David graduated from Skyline High School. He attended Portland State University, where he obtained his master's degree in mechanical engineering. David spent his career focusing on mechanical and process engineering.
David had many hobbies; fishing, 3D printing, watching movies, traveling, home remodeling, as well as building and playing guitars.
David is survived by his children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Bateman Carroll Funeral home in Gresham, OR on Saturday, October 4th, at 11am.
