Delores G. Geiszler

Delores G. Geiszler, 87 of Damascus OR, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. She was born on January 4, 1930 in Longlake, South Dakota to Fred and Christina (Treftz) Scheuffele. She married Reuben Walter Geiszler on October 23, 1949 in Longlake, South Dakota. Delores worked as a nurse’s aide for over twenty years at Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City , Oregon. She was founding member of Christ the Vine Lutheran Church in Damascus, Oregon where she was an active volunteer for many organizations over the years.

Delores is survived by her sons Jerry Geiszler (Lori) of Boring OR, Randy Geiszler (Sandra) of Milwaukie OR and Mike Geiszler (Jill) of Gresham OR; sisters Donna, Inez, Arlys and Susan all of South Dakota and grandchildren Brian of Berkley, MI and Andrea of Oregon City, OR. She was preceded in death by her husband and her grandson Jacob.

A Celebration of Delores’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Christ the Vine Lutheran Church, 18677 SE 187th Avenue, Damascus, OR 97089. Private inurnment will take place at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
