Donald “Don” Mark Biornstad passed away on November 22, 2015, in Portland, Oregon. Don was born on February 19, 1959, in Gresham, Oregon, to his parents: James Norman and Marquita A. Biornstad. Don graduated from Gresham High School in 1977.
Don worked at the family business, Gresham Floral Company, and he later worked as a heating and air conditioning technician. He had a special gift for creating beautiful garden spaces, and he was an exceptional Christmas Tree Decorator which provided his family with great joy.
Don enjoyed playing and recording music, drawing and painting, admiring art, electronics, and spending time in the great outdoors. Don had a special fondness for wildlife. He also enjoyed collecting antique blue glass bottles, and admiring antique automobiles.
Don is survived by his parents, James Norman and Marquita Biornstad; his brothers, James H. (Tina), Danial N. (Vivian L.), and Joseph R. (Elizabeth M.); his nephews, Tyson J. and Samuel J.; his nieces, Tina A. Biornstad – Szafranski and Sarah Beth; and his beloved cat Heather. He will be missed.
