Donald Allen Gill Sr.

Donald Allen Gill, 69, of Troutdale, passed away in Portland on Sunday, August 16, 2020.

Born September 8, 1950 in Portland, Oregon, he was the son of the late George and Florence Gill. He was preceded in death by sister Shirl Fiebiger, brother Robert Gill, and grandson Brayden Gill.

Don enjoyed fishing, boating, crabbing, gardening, beach trips, gambling, avid golfer, and most of all spending time with his family. He loved football and was a diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His home is filled with Pittsburgh Steeler memorabilia.

Spring was his favorite time of year. He was crazy about spending time with his beloved wife, kids, their spouses, his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly, of almost 52 years; daughter, Tammy Gill Warnke, and husband Dane Warnke, Son Donald Gill Jr., and wife, Echo Gill. Four grandchildren, Haley Warnke, Zack Warnke, Madisyn Warnke, and Ashley Warnke, and two great grandchildren Hannah Zuniga and Arya Weissenbuehler, and two sister’s Claudia Barber, and Donna Graham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received (viewing) at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, Gresham, Or. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Nick Castillo officiating.

Interment will be held at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portland, Oregon.
