Earl Emmett Bauld, Jr., 93 of Damascus OR, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. He was born on June 2, 1930 in Stuart, Nebraska to Earl and Nellie Bauld. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in O’Neal, Nebraska and married Evelyn Marie Johnsen on July 3, 1956 in Vancouver, Washington.
Earl retired as a machinist after working in Seattle and Portland. He was a past owner of Westland Realty in Estacada and Gresham and was a successful small business owner in East County. He was a past member of the Gresham Elks and St. Henry Catholic Church. Earl and Evelyn enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. in their motor home. In retirement, Earl enjoyed time spent on his tractor or tinkering in his shop.
His wife Evelyn in 2016, his son David in 2022 and his daughter Dorothy Anne preceded Earl in death. His daughter Dawn Marie Plumb of Damascus OR; son Darren Bauld (Debbie) of Boring OR; brother John Bauld of Boring OR; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild survive him.
A viewing will be from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 and Funeral Services will be at 11:30am on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made as donations to Mt. Hood Hospice at mthoodhospice.com in Earl’s name.
