Eleanor Jeanne Jordan

Born January 4, 1928, in Soda Springs, Idaho, she was the daughter of the late William Edwin and Pauline Vina Bews. The family moved to a farm outside Sandy, Oregon, when she was six years old, so she could attend the Oregon School for the Deaf, graduating in 1949. She is survived by her husband of nearly 66 years, Irving Ray Jordan, Sr.; two daughters, Pauline Connie Brooks and husband, William of Kailua-Kona, HI and Lillie Mae Jordan of Gresham, OR; three sons, Irving Ray Jordan, Jr. and wife, Anita of Prineville, OR, Louis Grover Jordan and wife, Deb of Syracuse, IN and William Edwin Jordan and wife, Ann of Putnam, CT; two brothers; William Edwin Bews and wife, Nannette of Ellensburg, WA and Bruce Alexander Bews and wife, Sandy of Tonasket, WA; a sister, Colleen Mullen of Cornelius, OR; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W Powell Blvd, Gresham, OR 97030. Long-time friend, Pastor Alfred Griffith, will be officiating.
