Emilie attended the public schools in Rock Island, Illinois. She graduated from Augustane College in Rock Island, Illinois. She was a member of the Black Hawk Hiking Club in Quad Cities, Illinois. She worked at Rock City Arsenal as a Quality Control Statistician. Emilie was a volunteer at a Childrens Museum in Iowa. In Oregon Emilie was a member of Gresham United Methodist Church.
Memorial service will be on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Gresham United Methodist Church located at 620 NW 8th St.
Survivors include her sister Susan and her husband John Andersen of Gresham, OR., niece Rebecca and her husband Erik O’Donnell of Los Angeles, CA., and nephew, Paulo Andersen, of Portland, Oregon.
