Frank Parks

Frank lived in Eureka, CA., then Mesa, Arizona, Damascus, OR. and Gresham, Oregon before moving for good to Hillsboro, Oregon in 1974.

Frank graduated from Gresham High School. He married Peggy Kinzer on May 14, 1983 in Forest Grove Oregon. He worked as a nurseryman for a total of 48 years, first for Speer and Sons Nursery before owning his own Frank Parks Nursery Company for 30 years. Frank loved restoring his old cars and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Peggy Parks, of Hillsboro, OR., three sons, Tony Parks, of Milwaukie, OR, Kelly Parks, of Hillsboro, OR., Jason Parks, of Hillsboro, OR., daughter Lisa McMillin, of Gresham, OR., mother, Ida Mae Parks, of Hillsboro, OR., two brothers, Tom and his wife Ruth Parks, Of Happy Valley, OR., Ed and his wife Dianne Parks, of Mesa, Arizona, three sisters, Patricia and her husband Dale Vinson, of Beaver Creek, OR., Nancy Vinson, of Beaverton, OR. And Linda Parks, of Tuson, Arizona. Frank was preceded in death by his father Dean Parks, two brothers, Eugene and Robbie Parks and his sister Dorothy Call.

Funeral service will be on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon followed by a concluding graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, Oregon.
