Harold "Steve" Steven Atkinson

Born in Nogal, New Mexico on April 5, 1934, he embraced life with his faith in God and had a zest for making others smile.

Steve and Dot were married in 1958 in Toledo, Oregon. They raised their family in Portland, Oregon. They lived in Happy Valley for many years, and then moved to Gresham where they lived until 2023.

Steve's legacy of love, happiness, and faithfulness will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His genuine smile and warm heart touched everyone he met. As a dad and papa he filled the lives of his children and grandchildren with happiness and unforgettable moments. He loved to fish, hunt, and travel, creating lasting memories with his loved ones and friends.

He is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife; his children, Rolin (Libby) and Becky (Buck); his grandchildren, Levi (Jaydn), Brogen, Caleb, Kendall (Austin), Bailey; and great grandchildren, Presley and Blakely. He was predeceased by son, Corey (Christine), and grandson Colby.

With heartfelt gratitude for the love he brought into our lives, Steve will be remembered as a loving husband, caring dad and papa, and faithful friend. May he rest in eternal peace.

Steve's Celebration of Life will be held on August 24, 2024 at 1:00pm at Mountainview Christian Church, 1890 NE Cleveland Avenue, Gresham, Oregon.
