Jack joined the Army after graduating high school and was a communications specialist. Jack retired from Bell Telephone Company as a phone installer. He married his first wife, Carol Freytag, and together they raised four children. They divorced, and Jack married Donna Mott. She passed in 1997. Jack met Carole and they got married on August 1, 1998. Their families came together and grew in that instance. Together they shared over 18 wonderful years.
Helping others was paramount in Jack’s life. He enjoyed working on projects, collecting antique telephones, reading and working in the yard. Jack was really good with his hands and could construct, build or restore just about anything. He was also known as one who was always ready to lend a helping hand. Lastly, Jack never complained and always had a good attitude.
