Jeffrey Ward Poulson

Jeff was born to Don and Selma Poulson on 6 June 1958. Throughout his childhood, he moved many times. He graduated from George C. Marshall High School in Ankara, Turkey.

When Jeff attended his friends Bob and Peggy's wedding in 1985, he met Linda. The two married a few years later in Reno, and started their family with the birth of their daughter Emily in 1987, and the birth of their son, Sam in 1990.

Jeff was an excellent mechanic. He worked for Midas and Meineke before he went to work for Tri-Met.

He was known for his sense of humor and love of his family. He enjoyed spending time with them on the Oregon Dunes. He loved spending time with his wife, Linda, catching dinner or a movie. He loved having a beer with his son, Sam. He especially loved watching the Dallas Cowboys!

Jeff did everything big - he loved big, he gave big, he laughed big - and his family will always remember his heart of gold. He was a great husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his wife Linda; his daughter Emily and son-in-law Eric; his son Sam and his daughter-in-law Nicole; his father Don; his brother DJ and sister-in-law Michelle; his sister Chris and brother-in-law Phil; his brother-in-law Doug and his wife Laurie; grandchildren McKenzie, Troy, and Owen; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeff's Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Saturday 14 December 2024 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home.
