

He was born in Portland on June 3, 1984 to Jim and Sharlene Green. As a child, Jeremy loved playing soccer and karate and playing with his army men in the bathroom for hours. He attended Gresham High school where he was in choir and the drama club. After graduation, Jeremy attended Mt. Hood Community college where he received his associates degree. He then went to work for Pella windows, before deciding to join the army.
A proud veteran, Jeremy served 7 years and 5 months in the army, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant before his honorable combat related medical discharge. He served in the Special Forces unit at JB Lewis-McChord base in Washington prior to his discharge. He was deployed to Iraq in 2011/2012. He was also deployed to Nepal, Thailand, South Korea and Japan. While serving his country, he earned the Army commendation medal, army achievement medal (4th award) meritorious unit commendation, Army good conduct medal (2nd award), National Defense service medal, Global War on Terrorism service medal, Korea Defense service medal, Iraq Campaign medal with campaign star.
After his discharge, Jeremy attended Portland State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in logistics. Due to his health, he was not able to work and became a domestic engineer, better known as a stay-at-home dad! He loved his kids, so this was the best job for him. He loved camping, hiking and going to the beach and just spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and loved him.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Savannah Reed, his sons, Landen and Spencer, stepson, Samael, parents, Jim and Sharlene, brothers, James, Josh and Joe, nieces, Gretchen, Jade, Jemma, Raven and Kylie and many more family and friends.
