John Wayne Corey was died on September 19, 2012 in Oregon City, Oregon at the age of 72. He was born on July 25, 1940 in Port Angeles, Washington. Private burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, Oregon. A memorial service will be on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Southwest Bible Church located at 14605 SW Weir Rd. in Beaverton, Oregon. Donations may be given to the DBC Romans Project, 14065 SW Weir Rd., Beaverton, OR 97007.
Survivors include his wife Jeannette Corey of Oregon City, OR., five daughters, Melodie Dudley, Troutdale, OR., Reenie Posey, Vancouver, WA., Sharie Bradley, Scappose, OR., Deb Schneider, Spokane, WA. and Joyce Jannsen, Oregon City, OR., three brothers, Dave, Phil and Mert Corey, six sisters, Virginia McLennan, Marilyn Thompson, Liz Richardson, Eleanor Guderian, Marion Alwine and Janice Lewis and 18 grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his son Nathan Corey.
