Judith Lynn Ferguson

Born on May 13, 1943 to Emanuel and Gladys Konell (Anderson) in Marinette, WI, Judy was the 4th of 5 children. She and her family moved to Oregon when she was a child, and she went on to attend Lynch Grade School, spent 2 years at Gresham High School, and graduated from Centennial High School.

Judy was the adoring mother of two sons, Shawn and Brian, and married the love of her life, Steve Ferguson, on December 18, 1971. The couple were inseparable, and had many hobbies together over the years including jeep racing, square dancing, bowling, traveling and camping.

A lover of animals, the southwest, and adventure; Judy was a caring and heartfelt woman whose favorite moments were those surrounded by her family and the people she loved.

Judy is survived by her husband, Steve Ferguson; son, Shawn Ferguson and daughter-in-law, Bernadette Stepney-Ferguson; son, Brian Ferguson and daughter-in-law, Cari Ferguson; granddaughters, Sarah Traub and Emily Mantia and their spouses; 5 great-grandchildren; beloved dog, Maggie Mae; sister, Jean Reams (Konell); and numerous heartbroken extended family members and devoted friends.

She was a shining light who will be missed by everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to a local animal shelter be made in Judy’s name.
