

Judith “Judy” Rebecca Wolf passed away on April 21st, 2017, at her home in Damascus, Oregon. Judy was born on October 12th, 1963, in Los Angeles, California. She attended John F. Kennedy High School in California. It was there that she met her future husband, Martin Wolf. They were High School Sweethearts and dated for seven years before getting married on March 22nd, 1986, in Solvang, California, in a private ceremony.
Judy took courses in California and Oregon to develop her professional skills. She worked in the Credit Union industry for her entire career. She began her career as a Loan Officer in Santa Ana, California. She had a strong work ethic, and she was a desirable employee. She served in a variety of positions over the years, including Sr. Loan Officer/Assistant Office Manager, Member Services Representative, and Visa Coordinator. Judy took pride in her work, and she used it to minister to others.
Judy was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Gresham for many years. She served in a variety of positions, including the Altar Guild and on the Church Council. Serving others brought her great joy, and over the years she was involved in giving to many charitable organizations, including Mastiff Rescue Oregon in McMinnville, from which she adopted her fur baby, Zsa Zsa. She was also a talented musician, and she received an award in High school commemorating her musical achievements.
Judy was described by friends and family as approachable, practical, personable and friendly. She was a good friend, a loving wife, and an all-around great person. She was selfless and charitable, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was very humble, and she was not one to seek credit for her accomplishments and gifts.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Martin Wolf of Damascus; her parents, John and Rosalinda Sheaffer of Eugene; her brother, Brant Sheaffer and his wife, Sian, and their children, William, Olivia, and Caden, all of Auburn, Washington; her mother in law, Noma Wolf of Gresham; her brother in law, Michael Wolf, and his wife, Mary Ellen, and their children, Michaela and Christopher, all of Herndon, Virginia.
A Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 29th, 2017, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 30th, 2017, at 4:00 pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Gresham, with viewing at the church starting at 3:00 pm.
