Julie Lee Wood

Julie Lee Wood, 54 of Gresham OR, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015. She was born on October 19, 1960 in Phoenix, Arizona to Schuyler and Jeanrita (Alderfer) Hinman. She graduated from The Dalles High School in 1978 and from Mt. Hood Community College in 1980 with an Associate Degree. Julie married Scott Allen Wood on July 17, 1982 in The Dalles, Oregon.

Julie worked for over 30 years in legal services before her retirement in 2011. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and loved flowers, antiques, gardening, birds and time spent with her family and friends. Julie shared her antique treasures with others in a space over the last four years at All Things Beautiful in downtown Gresham.

Julie is survived by her husband Scott Wood of Gresham OR; daughters Sara Tarne (Chris) of Long Beach CA and Kim Wood of Portland OR and sister Laura Farrell (Steve) of Portland OR.

A Celebration of Julie’s Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 120 SW Towle Ave, Gresham, Oregon.
