Kathryn Beatrice Burns Hogan

Kathryn graduated from Washington High School in Washington, New Jersey in 1943. She earned her Nursing degree from Easton Hospital School of Nursing in Easton, PA. Kathryn married Ross Hogan on September 3, 1949 in Easton, PA.

Kathryn was a registered nurse for many years, specializing in pediatrics and retired in 1988. She enjoyed walking daily with her husband in parks and malls, reading, and shopping.

Kathryn is survived by her husband Ross, of Damascus, OR.,and daughter, Patricia Oremus of Damascus, OR., son, James Hogan of Topeka, KS.; 6 grandchildren, Timothy and Joseph Oremus, Katie Callaway, Tracy and Becky Hogan, Spring Wilkins; and 2 great grandchildren, Olivia and Eva Wilkins. Kathryn was preceded in death by her son, Ross Hogan and daughter Kathleen Fields.

A memorial service to celebrate Kathryn’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
