Kyle is survived by his parents, Daniel and Cynthia Pettit, his wife Lisa, his children Cloey, Katie, Kody and Trinity, his granddaughter Malaysia, his sister Nicole, his niece Kya, his Aunt Kristine and Uncle Harley Smith. He is pre-deceased by his grandmother Phyllis Brown.
Born in Grants Pass Oregon on November 20th 1981 to Buster and Cindy. Kyle grew up in southern Oregon until the family moved to Portland in 1995.
Kyle spent his childhood hunting with his father, terrorizing his sister and being a mommas boy.
Kyle was a life long logger starting his career at the young age of 17 working for Mr Tree, where he met Wilbur. They quickly became best friends and then brothers. Kyle would tell everyone “I’ve got the looks but he’s got the money.” For the next 23 years they worked side by side pulling pranks on each other and were dedicated to their work.
Kyle was a doting father and husband. He was there for every milestone in his kid’s life. He loved watching his girls play softball and hunting with his only son. His heart melted when his youngest started showing interest in horses and going to the stalls. He had a special connection with each of his children. Kyle always made sure his family was taken care of whether it be a new car for one of the kids or a family vacation. He loved his family more than anything else and he worked his ass off for them. Kyle has touched many lives through the years and will be missed by his family and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 17th 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon.
