Lee Walis Noah passed peacefully on February 5, 2024. He was an honorable man, one of the best humans you could ever meet, and he wouldn't bat an eyelash to help someone in need if it was within his ability to do so.
When Lee was discharged from his service as a Navy UDT (Seal) with a purple heart, he began working up in the Puget Sound doing underwater wreckage salvage. With his savings from this work, he was able to save up money to start his own long haul trucking business. During this, Lee was named one of the top 10 best drivers in the United States! When he met his soulmate, Debra, he sold his trucking business and went to work for Mt Scott Fuel in Boring, Oregon as a heavy equipment operator. He spent the remainder of his working life there, and retired when he turned 60.
The other thing that began upon Lee’s marriage to Debra, was his Masonic journey. He became a 32nd degree Mason, member of the Scottish Rite, Member of the Order of the Amaranth, Member of Order of the Eastern Star. He also was an invited member of the Order of Quetzalcoatl "Q" and spent many years as a Royal Rosarian as well. Additionally, having two daughters of their own, both Lee and Debra were passionate about the wellbeing of young women and girls, this led Lee to be an Adult Leader for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and was an Adult Leader for Jeanette and Meredith’s Girl Scout troop. Lee was dedicated, and enjoyed mentoring and loving his Masonic Family as well as his immediate family, supporting his daughters through there multitude of Athletic and Theatrical endeavors. He never missed a swim meet, water polo match or theater performance.
In his free time, Lee enjoyed riding his ATV on the Sand Dunes, swimming and camping. He also enjoyed playing his harmonica! His sense of humor was unmatched (he was a smart ass), but also tender at the same time. He gave THE BEST hugs. He listened, always offered sound advice, and loved unconditionally. He was a man worth looking up to and modeling after.
Lee is survived by his devoted daughters, Jeanette and Meredith, Wife, Debra, Sister, Helen, and Brother, Lewis.
If donations would like to be made, please donate in Lee’s name to Shriners Hospital, The Lions Eye Institute, or the Masonic Charitable foundation.
