Marlene graduated from Madison High School. She was a secretary in the US Navy. Marlene enjoyed painting, shopping and gardening.
Marlene is survived by her daughter Tracy Valot and her three sons, John, Frank and Rich Morris, sister, Terry Munoz and her 5 grandchildren; Nikki, Megan, Marcus, Zach and Nick and her 2 great-grandchildren, Harlow and Mason.
Donations may be given to OHSU Parkinson Disease program or to Providence Elderplace.
Memorial service will be on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Elderplace, 17727 E. Burnside St. in Portland, Oregon.
Private interment is at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.
