Marten "Gary" Glen Wells, 74, passed away on April 3, 2026, on Good Friday. Born November 4, 1951, Marten was a very devout and faithful Christian. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend to those who knew him, and will be greatly missed.
Marten served in the Air Force from 1970 to 1974, a meaningful chapter of his life that reflected his commitment and sense of duty.
Marten is survived by two sisters, Shelley Ellis and Shannon Hard, and one brother, Greg Wells. Marten was preceded in death by his father, Glen Wells, mother, Dora Wells, and sister, Shara Lee Wells.
Visitation will be held at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W Powell Blvd, Gresham, OR 97030, on April 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
A committal service will take place at Cliffside Cemetery, 15635 SE Ten Eyck Rd, Sandy, OR 97055, on April 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
