Miriam Edna Walker, 96 of Portland OR, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011. She was born on December 6, 1914 in Eureka, Montana to Leonard and Edith (Price) Jewett. She married Harold Leslie Walker on August 24, 1935 in Portland, Oregon and he preceded her in death in 2007. She worked as a secretary for Portland Public Schools before her retirement.
She is survived by her son Phillip Walker of Salem OR; daughter Anita Conrad of Lynnwood WA; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
No formal services will be held at this time. Private interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, Oregon. Contributions may be made to Providence Hospice, 6410 NE Halsey Street #300, Portland OR 97213. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
