Mollie Hildreth was a strong woman. We met 20+ years ago working for different pet food companies at PetSmart and other fun pet events in the Portland metro area. We eventually both worked for Blue Buffalo.  Her first love was the rescue and care of cats, of which she was fully involved. Her craft business was another talent she had.  I cherish everything she made for me and my cats. I will always remember Mollie, a super fantastic lady. ❤️✨😇

Mollie - Kind - Sweet - Hard Working - Loving Soul...

Mollie was very kind, Always sending little gifts to my dog, a new toy, a dog leash, or a new collar. I think she was more my dogs friend than mine. She will be missed.        WES

I miss Mollie’s greeting when I’d see her in a store, big smile and How ya doing? Or a cherry, Whats going on? She was so helpful and really knew the products, many a customer would seek her out. If a charity needed food , she always found a way to help. Caring and selfless was our Mollie. I’m sure she was met in heaven by many a friend, loved one and many cats and dogs.❤️

Mollie was one of the strongest women I have ever met. Her heart was so big it filled every room she entered. She gave so much of herself to others, spending countless hours delivering stuffed animals, food, toys, and more—driving all over the city just to bring joy and comfort.

For more than four years, Mollie worked with me once a week, and every Saturday she absolutely lit up PetSmart with her spunk, laughter, and work ethic. She was a hard worker through and through, and she loved being there with us. I often found myself wishing I could have seen her in her younger years, between 25 and 55, when her incredible energy must have been unstoppable.

I’ll never forget a moment a couple of years ago when I thought I had lost her. I received a call from a man claiming to be “Mollie’s…” (I thought he said son). He told me she wouldn’t be coming back, and as he went on about an ER visit and a difficult decision, I began to cry, believing we had lost our dear Mollie. Then he said, “We had to euthanize her.” My heart dropped. Through tears, I asked, “Sir, are you speaking about your dog named Mollie?”—and he was. When I told our Mollie the story, she laughed and laughed, the kind of laugh that stays with you forever.

That laugh, that spirit, and that immense love will be deeply missed. While I am so sad you’ve left us, I know you’re now free of pain, surrounded by family and friends, and dancing in the joy and love you gave so generously to others.

Rest in peace, dear Mollie. You will always be remembered.

Mollie worked for me as a treasured /employee/frameman in the Prospect office at US West.  I could always count on her.  She and I still laugh about the time I was the on-call duty supervisor and had a Special Services problem in the Atlantic office.  I had reached the end of the call out list.  Mollie was the last person I could call and it was about 1:00 am.  When she answered the phone, I told her she was my call of last resort.  She said she was alone except for her son.  I asked her to bring Barrett with her, go to the Atlantic office and call me.  I would then walk her thru the steps it would take to fix the problem.  She did just that and we cleared the problem by 3:00 am when she and Barrett went home.  That is the kind of reliable person Mollie was, as a mother and as an employee.  I will miss her at our Telco lunches which she arranged for.  Thelma Haggenmiller

This is just one the time we went out to dinner with mollie and Diane. I am sorry so for your loss, Mollie was a great friend loved by so many people!

My thoughts are with her family!  She had such a wonderful, warm heart when it came to supporting the animals!  I met her thru Gresham Petsmart and my work with Second Chance.
