We will never forget Narendra (Nick) Patel, he was my Boss at the Holiday Inn in a small town in Hayti.Mo . This was a man I will never forget I got the privilege of being with his family and traveling with him to Texas and staying with his family. I was taught his native language: Gujarati. I still use some of the language that he and his wife Smitaben taught me whenever. I see Indians from his country I make it my point to greet them in their native language. I And my wife were looking forward to going to visit them in Oregon. I was very sad to hear of his passing I pray for you all that God will take you all through this difficult time. Naresh mama was such a loving and caring person. I do not remember a single conversation when he did not say “beta” to me. It is a sudden news for all of us. Today we are celebrating the life of a wonderful man and mourning his passing. He is not at our sight but always be in our memories. My prayers to give strength to all of the family members.

I remembered when we were at Beaverton hotel and I broke the key for basement and hid it from you and Shaileshmama. You guys were not happy. I was in big trouble. You weren’t mad that I broke the key but you were mad that I didn’t come to you. So after that I have always been honest with mom and dad.  Mom always knew when I broke something because I always start conversation with “ I will tell you something but you have to promise you won’t get mad” and she knew I did something

This is just one memory but I can go on and on. It is very hard to believe that I won’t have anyone to call me “bobari”. 

You may be gone but your memories will be with us forever.

When we (just you and me) went to India for Swetaben wedding, going to lunsikui at 10 pm for Krishna pavbhaji. 

I don’t know where to stop with memories. But I will miss you a lot.  You told me that be a better person and never wish bad for others.
