Patricia Rosalie Snider

Patricia was born on September 15, 1930 in The Dalles, Oregon and was the daughter of Harold and Rosalie (Holmes) Wilson. She grew up in Dufur and at age 8 she moved to The Dalles. She later moved to Portland where she graduated from Girls Poly Tech High School.

In 1951, Patricia married Leonard Snider in Vancouver, Washington. They had 4 children and resided in East County. Patricia worked a few various jobs but spent most of her time as a homemaker caring for her family.

Patricia was a devoted mom, grandma and great grandma. She was an excellent cook; she enjoyed gardening and canning and was a great seamstress. She also enjoyed reading, trips to Spirit Mountain and crocheting Afghans for everyone in her family. She also enjoyed spending time with friends from aerobics class.

Patricia is survived by her children, Richard Snider of Oregon City, Jerry Snider of Tygh Valley, Gordon Snider of Bonnie Lake, WA and Nancy Snider-Skogmo of West Linn, sister, Bonnie Cauley of Troutdale and brother, Danny “Butch” Wilson of Portland along with 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Randi, Kimi, Brandon, Chase, Ashlee, Britany and Austin and her 8 great grandchildren, Payton, Zach, Jake, Logan, Coby, Kaylee, Madison and Jaxson. Her husband, Leonard and her siblings, Sunny, Everett and Kate all preceded her in death.
