Peter West Gefre, 26, of Gresham, passed away February 13, 2016. He was born in Portland, Oregon on August 15, 1989. Pete attended East Gresham Elementary Grade School, West Orient Middle School and Barlow High School. He ended up leaving Barlow High School and went on to complete his GED.
Pete was a talented carpenter, mechanic and electrician. He could fix just about anything and was known as “Mr. Fix-it”. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating and rafting. He was a collector of tools, electronics, flashlights, but mostly friends. He was known for having at least three of every tool or gadget. Generous, honest, loyal and good friend were just a few of the many words used to describe Pete. He will be remembered for the relationships he fostered throughout his life time, his craftsmanship and ability to build just about anything, and never being lazy. Pete is survived by his mother, Laurie; brother, Tommy; partner, Derena & many friends and family. Pete will be deeply missed.
