Rose was born June 26, 1943 in Oxnard, California and was the daughter of Victor and Rose (Almeida) Martinez. In 1959, she was crowed the Queen of Mexican Independence Day and in 1961 She graduated from Santa Clara High School in Oxnard, California. After high school she earned her certificate as a Beautician. She married Raymond Reyna on February 20, 1982.
She enjoyed cake decorating, doing puzzle books, playing cards games, dominoes and she always liked to go out and eat.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond, children: Gina, Tanya, Roxan and Leonard, mother, Rose, sisters; Louise and Vickie and brothers, Ralph and Victor along with 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Rose’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
