Steve Harris died on July 7, 2010 in Fairview, Oregon at the age of 52. He was born on January 22, 1958 in Portland, Oregon to Richard and Ila (Englebreicht) Harris. He married Tammy Jensen in 1978 in Portland. Steve was a long time East Portland area resident.
Steve was an ironworker from 1978-1989, Union Ironworker’s local 29. He was a sales manager at Gresham Ford from 1988-1996 and a used car manager at Gresham Dodge from 1996-2004 and then at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet from 2004-2008.
Interests included cars, boating, snowmobiling and motorcycles. Steve lived life to the fullest.
Survivors include his wife Tammy, daughters Ashley and Melissa Harris, mother-in-law Bonnie and her husband Gordon Jensen and grandchild Orion Harris.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham. Private burial will be at Douglass Cemetery in Gresham.
