Terry Dale Sandblast, 80, husband, loving father, and proud Marine passed away in Gresham Oregon on April 3rd 2022. Terry is survived by his wife, Lois, daughter Emily Michael (Brent), sisters Janet Trapp and Judie Sams, as well grandchildren Chandler, Madison, and Dustin.
Terry was born on January 18th, 1942 in Portland. He proudly joined the Marines at the young age of 17 and served four years. During his time in the military, Lance Corporal Sandblast was stationed in Cherry Point, North Carolina and Iwakuni, Japan.
Upon his return to Portland, he attended Portland State University and launched into a successful career with the Portland City Planning Department and later as Government Affairs Manager at Clear Channel Outdoor.
Terry enjoyed a lifetime of hunting, camping, gardening, golf, and classic westerns. In the twilight of his days, Terry could often be found enjoying a good cigar by his cherished Koi pond. He was loved greatly and will be missed by many.
