Troy Steven Miller

Troy was born on November 13, 1975 in Portland, Oregon and was the son of Michael and Darla (Yeager) Miller. He grew up in Gresham where he attended Barlow High School. He was married in 2004 at his family’s home in Gresham and was later divorced.

Troy worked as an inspector for DEQ. He operated out of the Gresham office and was later transferred to the downtown location. In his free time, he enjoyed snowboarding, sports and spending time on the water. He was adventurous and a people person who never met a stranger.

Troy is survived by his dad and step-mom, Mike and Susan Miller of Oregon City, mom and step-dad, Darla Yeager and Rick Adams of Gresham, sisters, Trina Schlichting of Vancouver and Shellie Adams of Gresham and brothers, Scott Miller of Oregon City, Jason Thompson of Portland, Jeremy Adams of Corvallis and Troy Adams of Texas along with his grandparents Andy Anderson of Eagle Creek and Dave and Barb Yeager of Tygh Valley.

A Celebration of Troy’s life will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Abundant Life Church, 17241 SE Hemrich Rd., Damascus, OR 97089. Contributions may be made in memory of Troy to City Central Concern. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
