Truston graduated from Kingsland High School in Arkansas. He attended Arkansas A & M College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Truston married Betty Ible on November 2, 1945 in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
Truston is survived by his loving wife Betty, two sons, Leslie (Suzanne) Childress and Craig Childress, two grandchildren; Taylor (Courtney) Childress and Anne (Dr. Bobby Gibbons, Jr.), and his two great-grandchildren, Carter and Caroline.
Services are pending-call Bateman Carroll Funeral Home at 503-665-2128 for service update. Private interment at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
