On August 23, 1947, Virginia married her husband, George Bund Jr. Virginia attended Creighton University School of Nursing in Iowa, and she graduated from OHSU in 1967 with her BS in nursing. She worked as a Public Health Nurse for Multnomah County for many years.
Virginia enjoyed activities such as quilting, sewing, embroidery, and tending to her lovely garden. She will be remembered as being a loving and devoted Mother.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; Alpheus and Grace; her husband; George Bund Jr., and her son; Jon Bund.
Virginia is survived by her five children; Catherine Brugger, Neal Bund, Roy Bund, Don Bund, and Wayne Bund; as well as eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed.
