Mr. Andrew Jeff Dean

Mr. Dean was born August 31, 1945 in Brooks, son of the late Andrew James Dean and the late Rosaleen Carson Dean. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, ASA was a Griffin Policeman and worked for Roadway, Dean Builders and Singing Saw Farm.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Ray Dean of Williamson; daughters & sons-in-law, Misty & Billy Carter of Griffin Melissa & Andy Coggins of Griffin; grandchildren, Jamie & Chad Haldeman, Sarah Carter, Coleman Coggins, Hannah Coggins all of Griffin; great-grandchildren, Jackson Hayes, Colby Haldeman, Kyla Duffie all of Griffin; sisters, Faye Bowen of Augusta, Ginger Amerson of Augusta; brother, Robbie Dean of Forsyth; in-laws, Grace B. Ray and the late Raymond Ray, Sr., Ginger R. Smith, Raymond Ray, Jr. and Wayman Lee Ray.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Jeff Dean will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 from2 – 5 p.m. at Journey Church 315 W. Solomon St., Griffin.
